We have a strong and comprehensive transition programme at The John Frost School in order to ensure students arrive to us in Year 7 feeling settled and happy.   

We start the process of transition in Year 4 with our cluster primary schools, with students visiting us to experience a sports day on our site, meeting our staff and student helpers.   

In Year 5, the students work with our Performing Arts department to produce a primary school cluster concert, to which parents/carers are invited.   

In Year 6, all students attending our school in Year 7 (whether they are part of our primary cluster or currently in a primary school outside the cluster) experience a variety of activities, such as a welcome day, lesson experience events and a parent information event.
